Israeli bridal and fashion brand Galia Lahav has announced a big renovation and expansion of its flagship store on South La Brea in Los Angeles. This exciting change is happening before the brand celebrates its 40th anniversary later this year.
Right now, the store is 5,760 square feet in size, but after the renovation, it will grow to 8,800 square feet. This will make it one of the brand’s largest and most impressive stores in the world.
The redesign is being done by Cheryl Kaye Design Studio, a company known for creating beautiful and sensory-driven spaces. They will keep the elegant style seen in Galia Lahav’s New York and London stores but will also add a unique West Coast energy and glamour to the LA store. The goal is to create a space that feels both exciting and peaceful, giving customers a special and memorable experience.
Galia Lahav is investing 1 million dollars into this expansion because the brand is growing fast in the US market. The LA store’s sales have increased by 20% year after year, and in the first quarter of 2025, sales were 50% higher than in the same period in 2024.
To keep up with this demand, the new store will include a VIP styling lounge for celebrity fittings, private bridal appointments, and special events. The store aims to be not just a place to buy dresses but a full fashion and lifestyle destination.
The expanded store will display the brand’s wide range of bridal gowns, red carpet dresses, and ready-to-wear collections. It will also work with luxury partners like Jimmy Choo and Fleur du Mal for collaborations and special events.
More than 20 stylists and bridal experts will be available to help customers and make their shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.
The new LA flagship is set to open later this year, just before the brand’s 40th anniversary celebrations. The London store, located in Mayfair, covers 3,800 square feet over two floors and features a sleek, elegant design aimed at customers in the UK and Europe.
The original LA store opening was a big celebration, attended by celebrities like Angela Bassett, Moran Atias, and Bar Paly. The event included fashion shows, music, food, and drinks. The store itself is very stylish, with slate-blue walls, tall ceilings, leather furniture, and large mirrors to beautifully showcase the gowns. Osnat Lahav, Galia’s daughter, said the store feels warm and chic, just like their couture dresses.
Co-owner Brielle Fisher said they chose this location because it is spacious and has a cool, elegant vibe—very different from a typical all-white bridal store.
They remodeled the entire space, adding interior walls, a second floor, a kitchen, VIP fitting rooms, and an alteration studio where all custom fittings can be done on-site.
